School did not teach you anything about financial education at all. But why should they though? Don't you think the parents should? Why is it the school? Like people say we should teach this. Why the hell should?
I don't think money can ever buy true happiness.
On your deathbed, that's what you're going to remember. Yeah. You're not going to remember making a million pounds.
Going to work every day is slunging your guts out and never spending that money.
I came from a working class family. There was no saving, there was no investing, not even the thought of that this is possible. I've been in the crypto markets for three years and I've never helped make this much amount of money on my parents' account in such a short time. It's only recently.
At home we did not talk about money. You didn't talk about money? We didn't talk about money. But I remember sitting for the first time in my life and looking at the ceiling going, "Oh shit, I'm unhappy." I'm thanking myself, my 16-year-old self, from taking action. And even if this whole cryptocurrency thing didn't work out, I would have had a learning experience. I know people that have got multiple credit cards, maxed out credit cards, can't pay the credit cards off and take out a new credit card, and they'll just keep getting credit.
These are the money problems most people wrestle with but never talk about. The debt that keeps you awake at night, the savings that make you poorer every year due to inflation, the trades that could wipe you out in a single week. Every week, your lunch break, you and me, will confront the pain points, expose the myths and turn them into strategies you can actually use before you go back to work.
